What an unbelievable headline in a paper that has printed hundreds of square feet of anti-gun ownership articles and commentary and have supported every anti-gun law and legislator they can identify. They were particularly enamored with the DC law that forbid citizens from even possessing long-guns in their homes!

In a country in which law-abiding citizens have been disarmed, how are they going to defend themselves against hardened criminals with weapons?
Oh yes! I forgot! The police are going to protect them! Talk about hypocrisy!

But back on page 8 is the real eye-opener. Bob Perito, Obama’s thirty-something Haiti coordinator, said: concerns about the gangs are legitimate – in the long run. In the more immediate future, the gangs may be more of a nuisance. They are not going to challenge the US military, he added.
