Forbidden Planet, 168 Buchanan Street, Glasgow, G1 2LW Tel: 0141 331 1215 |
Next time you're in Glasgow, why not pop along to FORBIDDEN PLANET at 168 Buchanan Street, and have a look at all the tempting comics, collectables, and SF related goodies that they have on offer? The proprietor, JIM HAMILTON, works hard to ensure that FP is the premier shop its kind in the city, and he and his cuddly coterie of charismatic comic caterers will bend over backwards to meet your comicbook needs. (They used to work as circus contortionists.)
There's big Al, wee Kev, Clive, Gary and at least a couple of charming cuties (that means GIRLS, Melvin) who'll make you feel more than welcome as you browse amongst the huge selection of all the latest monthly Marvel, DC, and Independent publications on offer.
What's more, big-name comic contributors sometimes drop in to chat to Jim, who's a personal friend to quite a few industry "biggies" - like GRANT MORRISON, for example.
Personally, I never shop anywhere else - unless I want a GREGGS' cheese & onion pastie, that is.

So rush right along to FP with your unwanted money and buy yourself something nice which you can treasure forever. Tell them Kid sent you.
