Bridal Shower Mood Board

Here it is!
The mood board for the bridal shower!
We chose green , bright pink, and white . We want the decorations and atmosphere to be clean and sophisticated but still young with playful elements.
I am getting so excited!

Almost time to party Dunder Mifflin style!

Matt's Office party is this Friday and preparations are in full swing! I've been cleaning, shopping for supplies , and double checking my list! This should be a pretty casual gathering so I only sent out paper invitations to a few people and the rest received e-mail invites. The main part of the invitation is a memo sheet from a notepad that I got in the dollar section at Target. I just used scotch tape to attach the memo sheet to card stock. They turned out just the way I wanted, as if Michael Scott had made them himself!

Here's the mood board I whipped together to keep me on track as far as colors and what not. I did manage to get my hands on a water cooler from a thrift store, which is exciting! you just can't have an Office party without a water cooler!
Party Pictures soon to come!

Retro bridal shower Mood Board

The retro bridal shower is getting closer and closer, so I of course have a to-do list and a checklist that is about a mile long. First on the list was to create a mood board to keep myself of track and to confirm the feeling of the party with the hostess. I wanted to keep things young and fresh with retro touches for the 21 year old bride-to-be. She is not as much into pink so I have tried to focus my attention on bringing out more of the green elements of the color pallet I am working with. Enjoy the mood board!

Mood Board for Pink and Green Party

It's party tim once again! This time around the party is for a little girl named Naomi who is turning twelve! She LOVES hot pink and lime green so that's where I started. I wanted to add some fun, young elements to the party to keep things fun so I decided on accents of marabou and bandanas ( in pink and green of course ) Here is the mood board for the event, it helps me to keep on track from a design perspective and also helps me to more easily share my vision with the person I am planning the party for. Invitations, party preparation, and the pics form the party soon to come!

Mad Scientist Mood Board

This is the mood board that I created for the Mad Scientist Halloween party! It shows the playful color scheme of the event, and outlines the ideas I had for refreshments. Cocktail options included jello syringes, test tube shots, and "toxic waste" cocktails served from martini glasses , and garnished with a "plutonium rod" (glow stick).Photos of more party details are soon to come!

Shear Genius Mood Board

I have decided to create what I call a "mood board" for at least most of the parties I do , that way if I am doing the party for someone else then I know that we are thinking along the same lines as far as color, and style. But I will probably still do them just for my own parties to keep myself on track. This board is for my friend's Beauty school graduation party that I have given the name "Shear Genius"
