Inspiration for Today's Project!
I know, I know, I have shown you this before! But it is PERFECT, you must agree, for today's project!
Super Ball Fun!
No super balls were used during the making of this art project... hehehe!
Say, I have forgotten to remind any new comers to sign up for my Blog Celebration week gift! Just leave a comment on Monday's post:)
Here is your visual supply list:
* the paint colors are water base for easy cleanup for kids of all ages. (although this is not a messy project)
*you choose your colors, I happened to choose a total of 4 colors
*your "canvas can be what ever you would like to use. mine is a flat canvas board, but I was going to use water color paper. Hey what about that wood board?
1) In pencil, as light or dark as you wish, draw a letter or letters of your choice. Please make it so there is some negative/open space within the letter, this is where the fun happens! In other words: you could make large BLOCK letters with out filling in the middle spaces. Confused?
This is where we are headed:
Notice the pencil lines are visible... this is OK. It adds to the art :)
2) Pour a small pool of paint out into a dish (I use old plastic lids). Using your Q-tip, dab it , softly, into paint so just the tip is wet. The larger the blot of paint the larger the dots will be. Use a new Q-tip for each color and set neatly aside for you will be coming back to each color and dabbing your heart out until your heart is happy!

J'ai aimé ce projet!
I did love this project! It reminds me of a project I did at my son's class for Art Appreciation ~ in a study of Monet. Speaking of which, here is some news about "appreciating" art!
Tomorrow is something Yummy!!!
Hugs,
Mary
